Built in 1878 as the Claremont Hotel, over the years our building has housed a plumbing showroom, an antiques dealer, Carmine’s Barber Shop, an auto showroom, a tavern and multiple restaurants. In 2006, The Hampshire Companies extensively renovated the interior and exterior and opened Station Pub & Grub.
Modeled after a 1920's first-class train station lounge, the restaurant is adorned with sage-green walls, black marble top counters and Edison-style lamps. This is "a far cry from the former restaurant’s paneled dining room and dimly lit bar," wrote Bernardsville News staff writer P.C. Robinson.
Station Pub & Grub is proud to offer comfortable, casual family dining, with an emphasis on quality food and drink.
